About Your Instructor
I am Louisa Evans, a therapist and clinical hypnotherapist with a Master’s degree in Psychology, specialising in alcohol use, identity, and emotional regulation. My academic work has focused on how midlife women navigate neurodivergence, hormones, and coping behaviours, exploring the intersection between nervous system regulation and behavioural patterns.
Alongside my clinical practice, I am preparing for doctoral research examining neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and adaptive coping strategies at a deeper level. My work integrates psychological theory, CBT principles, mindfulness-based approaches, and evidence-informed hypnotherapy.
This course brings together both lived experience and academic grounding. It is designed to be practical, psychologically coherent, and respectful of how the ADHD brain actually works.
You are not here to be fixed. You are here to understand your wiring and build regulation skills that work for you.
Ensuring that my practice remains current and evidence-informed is of paramount importance to me. I hold professional insurance, undertake regular clinical supervision, and I am a Senior Member of the ACCPH as well as a member of the British Psychological Society.
